Brazil updates eSocial reporting and releases DeRE production endpoints

Brazil is implementing several technical updates to its digital tax and labor reporting systems. On September 29, 2026, eSocial will deploy changes to events S-2410 and S-2416, as outlined in Technical Note S-1.3 No. 07/2026. These updates specifically affect how public entities report benefit information, adjusting validations for benefit transfers between agencies and changes in CPF registration.

Separately, the Goods and Services Tax Management Committee (CGIBS) and the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB) have released the official production endpoints for the Declaration of Specific Regimes (DeRE). Developers and taxpayers can now access the URLs required for transmitting and consulting event batches. Official transmission of table event batches is scheduled to begin on October 1, 2026, at 09:00 Brasília time.
