Brazil upgrades local sports venues in Jaraguá do Sul and São Paulo

The municipal athletics track in Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil, has completed a series of renovations that include new public restrooms, a food service area, a fully refurbished running surface and covered spectator stands. The upgrades are intended to attract national-level competitions, bringing athletes, technical staff and spectators to the city and improving daily training facilities for the community.

In São Paulo, a resident has again pressed the city government to fix serious problems at Parque Ceret, citing an open sewage leak and dilapidated bathroom facilities. The municipal Secretariat of Sports and Leisure confirmed that the park’s restrooms will undergo maintenance after an inspection, and that necessary repairs will be carried out to restore the amenities.
