Brazil video shows security guard beating coworker and police officer pushing mother with baby

A security guard identified as David Silva violently struck a female coworker with his motorcycle helmet after she denied him entry through a restricted gate at the Canto Belo condominium in Salvador, Bahia, on 11 November 2025. The assault was captured by a surveillance camera and posted online, prompting public outrage. The victim suffered no physical injuries but required psychological support, and Silva later turned himself in to authorities.

In a separate incident, a police officer in Brazil was recorded pushing a mother carrying an infant during a chase, causing her to fall onto a curb. When another woman attempted to intervene, the officer also pushed her. The video circulated on X, drawing condemnation for the risk posed to the child and the aggressive conduct of the officer.
