Brazil weekend road races in Maringá and Florianópolis
The SRun Maringá takes place on Sunday, 26 July 2026, in Maringá, Paraná, offering 5‑km and 15‑km races. Organisers expect around 2,500 runners from across Brazil and aim to boost local tourism and the economy. Registration for the adult events ends on Thursday, 23 July, with a fee of R$ 49. Participants receive a medal, a kit with a T‑shirt and other items, and must collect their kit in advance at a local Ford dealership. The event is co‑hosted by the Amazing Runs Association, Global Vita Sports and sponsored by Santander.
In Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, the Corrida Verde is also scheduled for Sunday, 26 July 2026, at Beira‑Mar Continental. The race includes 5‑km and 10‑km distances, with registration closing on Friday, 24 July. Kits are distributed on Saturday, 25 July, at Paquetá Sports in Shopping Villa Romana. A free Corrida Kids race for children aged 2–13 follows the adult events, promoting family participation and socio‑environmental awareness. The series will continue to Joinville on 9 August.
