Brazil wine festivals in Florianópolis and São Paulo draw free‑entry crowds
Fort Atacadista held its Festival Mundo dos Vinhos at the Rio Tavares store in Florianópolis on 27 June. The free‑entry event offered tastings of dozens of national and imported wines, sparkling varieties, cheeses, cured meats, pastas and sauces, and featured representatives from wineries such as Casa Santos Lima, Terraustral and Viña de Aguirre. Organisers highlighted the campaign’s goal of making wine culture accessible, with special promotions and payment options available throughout the Fort Atacadista network until the end of August.
The Plaza Sul Shopping in São Paulo hosted its first Festival de Vinhos from 2 to 5 July. Also free to the public, the festival presented a range of Brazilian and international wines, workshops on pairing wine with food, and talks on topics such as olive‑oil matching and regional terroir. The event’s marketing emphasized the growing Brazilian wine market, projected to reach US$30.4 billion by 2033. Visitors could also enter a draw for Electrolux wine cabinets.
