Fundação Campeões do Amanhã takes sub‑14 team to friendly in Natal
On Friday, 7 May, the Fundação Campeões do Amanhã (FCA) from João Pessoa sent its under‑14 football squad to Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, for an interstate friendly against Rio Grande SAF. The match ended 3‑1 in favor of FCA and served as a preparation exercise for the upcoming Copa Metropolitana Sub‑14 to be held in João Pessoa, as well as a debut for the foundation’s new uniform.
Foundation president Kaio Márcio said the exchange “helps our athletes grow both on and off the field,” while vice‑president Renato Martins added that the experience “is about evolution, not just the score.” Rio Grande SAF, founded in 2024, had finished third in the Campeonato Potiguar Sub‑15 and boasts players already attracting interest from São Paulo.
The friendly provided the young players with exposure to a different competitive environment and reinforced FCA’s commitment to holistic athlete development.
