Brazilian 2026 Election Polls Spotlight Senate Race in Rio de Janeiro and Governorship Race in Acre

A poll conducted by Genial/Quaest shows that in Rio de Janeiro the Senate race is headed by Federal Deputy Benedita da Silva (PT) with 11% of voting intentions, closely followed by former mayor Marcelo Crivella (Republicanos) at 8%, the two technically tied. Other candidates such as Carlos Portinho and Márcio Canella each register about 4%.

A Real Time Big Data survey for the Acre governorship indicates that Senator Alan Rick (Republicanos) leads with 38% support, while incumbent Governor Mailza Assis (PP) trails at 28%. In a possible second‑round scenario, Rick could rise to 45% against Assis at 36%. The poll also includes Senate preferences for the state, with Gladson Cameli (PP) at 25%.

Both surveys were carried out in late July 2026, sampled roughly 1,600 voters each, and carry margins of error of 2–3 percentage points with a 95% confidence level. They are registered with Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
