Brazilian actresses discuss upcoming film and television projects

Brazilian actresses Bia Arantes and Betty Faria have shared updates regarding their upcoming professional projects.

During a pre-premiere in São Paulo, Bia Arantes discussed her role as Ester in the upcoming series ‘Ben-Hur’. The production, which is set to debut on Univer Video and later on Record in 2027, consists of 50 episodes that expand upon the original story with new characters. Arantes also commented on working alongside her former partner, Vinicius Redd, noting that they have maintained a respectful and friendly relationship since their breakup in 2019.

Separately, at the Festival do Rio, veteran actress Betty Faria praised the importance of the event for South American cinema and the international recognition of Brazilian productions. Faria, who serves as a godmother to the festival, announced that she will appear in two upcoming films and teased a new, undisclosed television project for the coming years.
