Brazilian actress Giovanna Lancellotti shared social media posts documenting her visit to the Vatican to meet Pope Leo XIV. The encounter took place on September 16 at St. Peter's Square during a general audience. Lancellotti was accompanied by her husband, Gabriel David, and mother-in-law, Fabiola David. She described the experience as one of “deep emotion and faith.” Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Francis Prevost, is the 267th Pope of the Catholic Church and the first pontiff born in the United States.
