Brazilian agencies Inea RJ and Cremerj advance public exam preparations
The State Institute of Environment of Rio de Janeiro (Inea RJ) announced that it is finalizing the hiring of the exam‑organising body and expects to publish the competition notice for 150 positions later this year, with exams slated for the second half of 2026. The institute highlighted a current vacancy pool of 301 posts, underscoring the urgency of the recruitment drive.
The Regional Education Council of Rio de Janeiro (Cremerj) confirmed that the contract with its selected exam‑organising committee has been signed and posted on the National Public Procurement Portal. Meanwhile, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) is set to choose its organising body in August for a temporary census‑recorder contest that will offer more than 27,000 vacancies.
Both announcements reflect a broader push to fill large numbers of civil‑service positions across Brazil’s environmental, educational and statistical agencies.
