Brazilian American Football Forum to be held in Rio de Janeiro

The 2nd Brazilian American Football Forum will take place on September 24 at the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) auditorium in Rio de Janeiro. Organized by the Brazilian American Football Confederation (CBFA) in partnership with the COB, the event aims to discuss the future of the sport in Brazil, occurring three days before the NFL Rio Game.

A central theme of the forum is Flag Football, which will be included in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Discussions will involve CBFA President Cristiane Kajiwara and COB officials regarding the development of the sport within the Olympic Movement. The program also includes insights from NFL Brasil regarding the expansion of the modality in the country.

Other panels will address the commercial potential of American football with representatives from brands such as Oakley, Zurich, and the Miami Dolphins. The forum will also explore the intersection of sports, media, culture, and entertainment, concluding with a discussion featuring athletes from the Brazilian National Flag Football Team.
