Brazilian-American Student Júlia Lima Killed in Fort Myers Shooting
Júlia Lima, a 21‑year‑old Brazilian‑American who had lived part of her youth in Bahia, was shot dead in Fort Myers, Florida. Police say the suspect, 27‑year‑old Willian Rosa do Amaral from Minas Gerais, Brazil, was her former boyfriend. He turned himself in to authorities on the day of the killing and was arrested on a charge of second‑degree murder.
