Paranoá shooting investigation involves Brazilian Army member

An investigation is underway in the Capão da Onça region of Paranoá, Distrito Federal, following a shooting involving two men who had gone fishing together.

Police discovered a silver Volkswagen Parati that had crashed into an embankment. One man, the driver, was found with two gunshot wounds to the face and was pronounced dead. The passenger, identified as a member of the Brazilian Army, also sustained injuries.

Authorities seized a .38 caliber Taurus revolver, six rounds of ammunition, and a leather holster at the scene. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the shooting and the relationship between the victims.
