Brazilian Army promotes citizenship through PROFESP in Maceió

The Brazilian Army’s Forces in Sport Program (PROFESP) is utilizing sports to promote citizenship and social values. In Maceió, Alagoas, the program recently conducted a traffic education activity on October 13.

In collaboration with the Municipal Department of Transport and Traffic (DMTT), the initiative provided practical guidance on road safety and pedestrian rules to students. The activity aimed to connect public safety topics with the daily lives of children, emphasizing the importance of discipline, respect, and the preservation of life through responsible behavior in shared spaces.
