Brazilian Army soldiers detain car thief in Apucarana

A man was arrested in the early hours of Saturday in Apucarana, Paraná, after attempting to steal a car radio. The suspect entered a vehicle on Avenida Santa Catarina and damaged the dashboard to remove the sound system.

The theft was interrupted by Brazilian Army soldiers performing security duties at the nearby Military Village. The soldiers immobilized the suspect and held him until the Military Police arrived to take custody. The individual was subsequently taken to the Apucarana Civil Police Station along with the recovered radio.
