Brazilian artisans expand reach through major jewelry and design exhibitions

Brazilian artisanal projects are gaining significant visibility in major domestic and international markets. In São Paulo, artisans from the ‘Joias da Amazônia’ project presented biojewelry at the 83rd FENINJER+, one of Latin America’s largest jewelry fairs. Supported by the Federation of Industries of the State of Pará (FIEPA) and SENAI, the project showcases pieces that combine contemporary design with Amazonian materials and ancestral knowledge. This participation is considered a lasting legacy of the COP30 conference.

Simultaneously, craftsmanship from the Vale do Jequitinhonha region in Minas Gerais is heading to France. Approximately 150 sculptures produced by traditional communities will be featured at Maison & Objet Paris 2026, a premier international event for design and lifestyle. The exhibition aims to internationalize the region's production, positioning it as a global reference for cultural authenticity. Additionally, a portion of the works will be displayed at the Ricardo Fernandes Gallery during Paris Design Week.
