Brazilian associations discuss micropensions and longevity

Abrapp and the Brazilian Association of Mobility and Technology (Amobitec) are discussing a micropension project designed to include app-based workers in complementary pension schemes. The initiative aims to provide legal security and social protection for workers in the transport, delivery, and technology sectors, aligning with International Labour Organization Convention No. 193 to balance technological innovation with worker rights.

In a related development regarding demographic shifts, the Brazilian Institute of Actuaries (IBA) has opened registrations for its 2nd Longevity Forum, scheduled for November 26, 2026, in São Paulo.
