Brazilian athletes called up for international competitions in Argentina

Several Brazilian athletes have been called up to represent the country in international competitions in Argentina.

In softball, Emanueli dos Santos and Samira Mari Tanaka, players for Nikkey Marília, have joined the Brazilian Women's National Softball Team. They are participating in the South American Games in Santa Fé, with matches held at the Ingeniero Nafaldo Cargnel Stadium in Paraná. The tournament, held between September 15 and 19, serves as a starting point for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle and a qualifier for the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima.

In basketball, Fernanda Silva has been selected for the Brazilian Women's Under-15 National Team. Silva, who developed her skills through the Arremesso para o Futuro social project in Osasco, will compete in the Copa Kenia. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, from September 23 to 27.
