Gymnasts Heloísa Colombi, Maria Alice Hemmer and Valentina Rocha of the Associação Brusquense de Ginástica Rítmica captured the gold medal in the Trio Pre‑Infantil (ropes) category at the Brazil Cup in Fortaleza, securing a spot for Brazil at the South‑American Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in Colombia.

In the BSOP Winter poker series, professional Marcelo Giordano topped the 4K Second Chance tournament, earning a R$ 72,240 prize, while Daniel Gadotti won the Omaha 5 event with a R$ 83,900 payday. Both victories add to Brazil’s recent successes on the international competitive circuit.
