Brazilian authors Josimey Costa and Cida Mendes launch new books

In Brazil, authors Josimey Costa and Cida Mendes are highlighting new literary works through upcoming events.

Journalist and researcher Josimey Costa has released a new edition of ‘Quase conto’, published by EDUFRN. This version features a visual redesign incorporating graphic interventions by artists Rafael Sordi Campos and Lucca Medeiros, blending short narratives with experimental photography and layout. The work is available in both print and digital formats.

Actress and writer Cida Mendes will participate in the ‘Sempre Um Papo’ project in Paracatu to discuss her book ‘Fisolofias de Concessa’, published by Editora Ramalhete. The book is a collection of chronicles and poetry derived from her long-running character, Concessa. The event includes a public conversation and an autograph session.
