Brazilian authors promote mental health through literary projects

Writer and therapist Lílian Almeida is hosting a free bibliotherapy workshop for women in Conceição do Coité. Part of her ‘Circulação Literária’ project, the event focuses on reading, writing, and shared experiences to provide a space for self-care and collective reflection. The activity supports her book, ‘Fecundo a terra enquanto choro’.

In São Paulo, writer and integrative therapist Rute Cardoso launched two new books at the 28th International Book Biennial. Her solo work, ‘A Paz Interior em Meio ao Caos’, addresses emotional stability in contemporary life. She also co-authored ‘O Despertar Integrativo’ with clinical psychologist Celina Figueiredo, which explores the connections between body, mind, and energy. Both books are published in a bilingual Portuguese and English format.
