Brazilian bodybuilding shifts focus to São Paulo after Mr. Olympia success
Following a strong performance at the Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, Brazilian bodybuilder Ramon Dino expressed mixed emotions after placing third in the Classic Physique category. Dino congratulated the winner, Niall Darwen, noting that while the result was not what he had planned, he remains motivated and is already looking toward the 2027 Arnold Classic.
This performance follows a record-breaking year for Brazilian bodybuilding on the international stage, with the country securing eight podium finishes at the recent Mr. Olympia. Winners included Eduarda Bezerra in Wellness and Natalia Abraham Coelho in Women’s Physique.
The focus now shifts to Brazil, as the Mr. Olympia Brasil Expo 2026 is set to take place at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo from October 16 to 18. The event is expected to host over 800 athletes competing for 24 professional cards, which grant entry into the IFBB Pro League and provide a pathway to international competitions and the Mr. Olympia circuit.
