Brazilian celebrities declare assets for 2026 elections
Several Brazilian celebrities have declared their assets to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) as they prepare for the 2026 elections.
Actor Humberto Martins, 65, will run for federal deputy in Rio de Janeiro representing the Christian Democracy (DC) party. He declared assets totaling approximately R$ 3.6 million, which includes an apartment valued at R$ 600,000, life insurance and pension plans totaling R$ 2.1 million, and approximately R$ 130,000 held in an overseas account.
Journalist Rachel Sheherazade is seeking a federal deputy seat in São Paulo for the Social Democratic Party (PSD). Her declared assets amount to R$ 140,000, consisting of stocks, cryptocurrency investments, and an armored vehicle.
Additionally, Andréa Sorvetão, a former television personality, is running for the Chamber of Deputies in Rio de Janeiro for the DC party, declaring assets exceeding R$ 144,000, including property and corporate shares.
