Brazilian chefs expand culinary reach through airline partnerships and dining
Renowned Brazilian chefs are expanding their culinary influence through personal encounters and international partnerships.
Manu Buffara, named the best chef in Latin America in 2022, has partnered with United Airlines to design a new menu for its Polaris business class. Launched on August 1, the first menu is sea-inspired, featuring dishes such as a shrimp mousse appetizer with kale, heart of palm, and passion fruit sauce. Buffara stated her goal was to provide comfort and hospitality to passengers, drawing on her own frequent travel experiences.
In São Paulo, content creator Leonardo Campane shared his experience dining at Arturito, the restaurant led by chef Paola Carosella. Campane, who traveled from Acre, noted that the meal and the opportunity to speak with Carosella personally deepened his admiration for her professional trajectory in the gastronomy industry.
