Brazilian cities announce weekend transport changes

Trensurb, the metro operator serving the Porto Alegre metropolitan area, will run trains on a single track between Fátima and Canoas on Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12, with extended headways of 15–20 minutes on Saturday and 20–22 minutes on Sunday while electrical system works are carried out.

In Salvador, the municipal transit agency Transalvador has published a schedule of road closures and detours for Saturday and Sunday to accommodate the Festa de Labatut, the XXV Corrida do Fogo, the III Corrida Multmais, the Cavalgada da Paz Salva Vidas, and the IV Congresso Eucarístico procession. Specific avenues such as Estrada de Plataforma, Av. Octávio Mangabeira and several side streets will be blocked or have mobile barriers during designated hours.
