Brazilian cities Anápolis and Londrina launch opportunity programs

The municipality of Anápolis (Goiás) inaugurated the “Primeira Chance” program on Saturday, Oct. 18, to connect young people with apprenticeship and internship positions. The event, held at the Centro Administrativo Adhemar Santillo, featured companies offering Jovem Aprendiz roles for ages 14‑24 with a weekly wage of R$ 810.50, as well as internship slots for university students with salaries starting at R$ 700.00.

In Paraná, the city of Londrina organized a “Compra Londrina” round of public‑procurement opportunities on Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Associação Comercial e Industrial de Londrina. Selected local entrepreneurs met with officials from the municipal government, the traffic and urbanization agency, the lighting authority and the city council to discuss upcoming contracts in eight sectors. The event, supported by Sebrae, provided 15‑minute briefing sessions to help small firms navigate the licensing process.

Both initiatives aim to boost local employment and stimulate small‑business participation in public projects.
