Brazilian cities approve Legendários commemorative days

The city council of Colatina in Espírito Santo approved a municipal decree creating a "Dia Municipal dos Legendários" to be observed each year on 29 June. The proposal was introduced by councilor Vitor Louzada (PL) and is described as an honorary celebration aimed at strengthening families, personal development and social responsibility, without creating new expenses or official duties.

In Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, councilor Vandinho Pereira (PP) secured unanimous support (12 votes) for a similar law, which was signed by mayor Glêdson Bezerra (Podemos). The law establishes a Legendários day on 23 July, also framed as a commemorative and educational event with no financial obligations. The movement, which gathers roughly 300 men and runs activities such as the "TOP" (Track Outdoor of Potential) spiritual immersion, seeks to promote dignity of the human person and family bonds.
