Brazilian Cities Guaratinguetá and Marília Open New Municipal Facilities

The Guaratinguetá City Council in São Paulo state began operating from a new headquarters on Avenida Heriberto Pereira da Cunha, 1280, in the Prefeito Gilberto Filippo neighborhood on Monday. Council president Rosa Filippo announced that public services would resume at 8 a.m. and that the first legislative session at the new site would be held the same day at 6 p.m.

In Marília, the municipal administration launched a public tender to replace furniture in the mayor’s office and other administrative areas. The procurement plan includes three executive swivel chairs, ergonomic office chairs, auditorium seats, and various tables, with an estimated market value of R$ 134,466.63. Officials say the upgrade aims to improve ergonomics, safety, and the functional organization of municipal workspaces.
