The municipality of Campina Grande in Paraíba began the first public meeting to draft a new Municipal Education Plan for 2027‑2037. Representatives from public and private schools, unions, social movements and other civil‑society groups gathered at the State University of Paraíba to receive methodological guidance and start a diagnostic phase. The process, overseen by the municipal education secretariat and technical support from the state’s education cooperation network, aims to produce a ten‑year strategy aligned with the national education plan.

In Santa Catarina, the city of São José issued a decree establishing an inter‑sectoral committee to prepare a Municipal Plan for Early Childhood.
