Brazilian municipalities announce hundreds of new public job vacancies

Municipal governments in Brazil have released a wave of public hiring announcements. The city of Cuiabá posted 553 vacancies, including 363 positions that do not require prior experience, with salaries up to R$ 6,000. Anápolis launched the "Primeira Chance" program offering apprentice and internship slots for young people aged 14‑24. Salvador’s municipal labor office listed 735 vacancies for a single day, spanning health‑care, logistics and administrative roles. Additional hiring notices include a public procurement for a photographer by Sebrae DF and a temporary‑contract selection by the health department of Cuiabá. The opportunities span health, education, infrastructure, public safety and youth apprenticeship programmes, reflecting a broad effort to boost employment across multiple Brazilian states.
