Brazilian climbers Anja Köhler and Felipe Ho reach semifinals at Pan America Series in Salt Lake City
Anja Köhler won the silver medal in the Guided (Lead) climbing competition at the Salt Lake City stage of the Pan America Series, finishing behind Argentina's Valentina Aguado with Canada’s Cedar Pidgeon third. She qualified for the final after a semifinal tie‑break, becoming the only athlete to top the first route in the qualifying round.
Brazilian climber Felipe Ho advanced to the Lead semifinals, placing tenth after consistent climbs on both routes, but did not reach the final. In the Speed discipline, teammates Pedro Egg and Caio Egg progressed to the quarter‑finals, each posting sub‑6‑second times before being eliminated.
The results highlight Brazil’s strong showing across multiple climbing disciplines at the North‑American leg of the Pan America Series.
