Brazilian clubs gear up for key women's football, basketball and futsal matches
The Ferroviária women's football squad will play Corinthians in the Campeonato Paulista Feminino on Friday, 17 April, at Parque São Jorge in São Paulo, with the game televised on Cazé TV, Record News and HBO Max. A week later the team meets Corinthians again in the Copa do Brasil round of 16 at Fonte Luminosas. In the women's basketball LBF semifinal, SESI faces Campinas at the Tênis Clube de Campinas, while the Ferroviária youth squads compete in the Paulista championships across under‑15, under‑17 and under‑20 categories.
In the Liga Futsal GV, the final classification round on 16 April at the Ginásio Poliesportivo Arnóbio Pitanga in Governador Valadares determined the six qualifiers for the next stage. Filadélfia and Milan GV secured direct semifinal spots, while Praça de Esportes, Reisper, Bayern Futsal and Arena Futsal will contest the playoffs for the remaining two semifinal berths.
