Brazilian clubs Náutico and Sport announce transfer updates

Náutico confirmed the signing of Argentine midfielder Pato Nuñez on a permanent deal lasting until the end of the 2026 season. The player, a River Plate youth product who has previously played for clubs in Argentina, Peru and Brazil, is eligible to make his debut in the upcoming Série B match against Atlético‑GO on 9 August.

Sport announced that negotiations with forwards Tiquinho Soares and Yan Sasse have been terminated after the club reached the financial limit set in the offers. The club, which has already added a goalkeeper, a right‑back, a centre‑back, a midfielder and a striker this window, will continue to seek other attacking options.
