Brazil hosts a slate of local festivals and cultural events June 26‑28

A series of free public festivals and cultural programs are taking place across Brazil over the weekend of June 26‑28, 2026.

In Balneário Camboriú, the Festival do Pescador do Bom Sucesso launches on Friday with more than 20 musical acts, a traditional Fisherman's Queen parade and dozens of food stalls. Brasília’s cultural calendar features the 14th Festival do Japão, Emicida’s show with Mano Brown, stand‑up comedy and a free exhibition of Copa‑themed art.

Caraguatatuba will host the 21st Festival da Tainha from July 9‑12, celebrating local caiçara cuisine and music. In Esperantina, the São João da Esperança festival is set for July 17‑18 with regional forró performers. São João da Barra’s Festa de São Pedro concludes the June Junina circuit with religious processions, boat parades and prize‑money contests.

The community of Bela Vista do Cambira in Paraná holds a traditional Festa Junina on Saturday, featuring quadrilha dancing and a senior cultural group. Goiânia’s weekend agenda includes a Marina Sena concert, a multicollector’s Copa‑sticker fair, a Beyblade tournament and family theatre.

Pernambuco’s Festival PE na Dança runs June 29‑July 1 in Surubim, offering free dance shows, workshops and film screenings. Belo Horizonte’s Sarau de Queerbrada on June 27 celebrates LGBT+ art in the public square with awards of R$ 1,200. Finally, Venda Nova do Imigrante in Espírito Santo presents the first Festival de Balonismo de Pindobas, with 13 hot‑air balloons, night‑glow displays and local gastronomy.

All events are open to the public and aim to promote regional culture, tourism and community engagement.
