Brazilian comedian Tirullipa ordered to pay damages for Farofa da Gkay incident
A court in Fortaleza sentenced Brazilian humorist Everson de Brito Silva, known as Tirullipa, to pay R$15,000 to each of two women, totaling R$30,000, for invasive actions during the Farofa da Gkay event in December 2022. Judge Leila Regina Corado Lobato ruled that Tirullipa pulled a bikini strap and touched a woman's breasts without consent, actions that exceeded the limits of a recreational activity and caused humiliation, especially after the videos spread widely on social media.
The victims, one of whom is influencer and singer Nicole Louise, reported emotional distress and online harassment following the incident. Tirullipa was removed from the program, issued a public apology, and may appeal the decision. The ruling underscores legal accountability for non‑consensual conduct in entertainment settings.
