Brazilian companies launch new internship programs

Several major companies in Brazil have launched or are maintaining internship programs to attract university and technical students. Nubank, Ambev, iFood, and Vale have opened their second annual round of applications, targeting students with expected graduation dates between 2027 and 2029. These opportunities require a minimum of 30 hours of availability per week and offer various benefits, such as meal and transport vouchers, and in some cases, pet health plans or international exchange opportunities.

Other companies with active selection processes include Bain & Company, ISA Energia Brasil, Heineken, and Getnet. Recruitment experts note that many large firms are now utilizing artificial intelligence for initial candidate screening, requiring applicants to optimize their resumes for automated filters.

In Curitiba, the appliance manufacturer Britânia is also conducting its second internship program edition. Aimed at university students from the third semester onward, the program utilizes digital-first selection methods, including gamification and video dynamics, to appeal to Generation Z. The initiative seeks to build long-term professional trajectories within the company.
