Brazilian cooperatives mobilize for Dia de Cooperar community actions

Brazilian cooperatives are participating in the ‘Dia de Cooperar’ (Dia C), a major national volunteerism movement coordinated by Sistema OCB. The initiative focuses on community interest and social sustainability through various local actions.

In one instance, Copercampos partnered with Hemosc to host a blood donation drive at the Associação Atlética Copercampos. Held on August 26 and 27, the event successfully collected 160 blood bags from employees, members, and volunteers to support medical treatments and emergencies.

Simultaneously, Sicredi Vale Litoral SC mobilized its members and partners for community service activities. These efforts included revitalizing public spaces, environmental care, and educational initiatives aimed at strengthening local social ties and promoting citizenship.
