Brazilian craft breweries win major international and regional awards

Brazilian craft breweries have achieved significant recognition in the brewing industry. Cervejaria Landel, based in Campinas, São Paulo, won the World’s Best IPA title at the 2026 World Beer Awards held in Norwich, England. Their beer, ‘Atrás do Bloco’, won in the Milkshake/New England IPA substyle before securing the overall title, surpassing entries from 50 countries including Canada, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

In the regional market, Cervejaria Kairós was named the most remembered craft beer brand in the Greater Florianópolis region during the 2026 Top of Mind awards. The recognition, based on spontaneous consumer recall research by Instituto Mapa, highlights the brewery’s decade-long strategy of regional identity and consistent market presence.
