In theatrical news, ‘Fafá de Belém, o Musical’ is scheduled for a short run at the Teatro Arthur Azevedo in São Luís throughout August. The production celebrates the five-decade career of singer Fafá de Belém, tracing her journey from her childhood in the Amazon to her political engagement during the ‘Diretas Já’ movement. The musical features Lucinha Lins portraying the singer in her mature phase, alongside Helga Nemetik and child actresses. The project also includes free workshops in musical theater, cultural production, and eco-recycling.
