Brazilian Cyclists Capture National and Stage Race Successes

Raiza Goulão dominated the 2026 Brazilian Mountain Bike Championships in São José dos Campos, winning both the Short Track (XCC) and the Olympic Cross‑Country (XCO) elite titles. The victory marks her third national XCC crown and seventh XCO title, reinforcing her status as a leading figure in Brazilian mountain biking and highlighting the support of her team, Squadra Oggi.

In a separate event, Alexandre dos Reis of Varginha, known as “XTR,” finished 15th overall in the Sertão Diamante Stage Race held in Diamantina. Competing against more than 950 riders over four days in the Serra do Espinhaço, he overcame mechanical issues to secure a top‑15 finish and will next contest the Asca Bikers circuit stage in Machado, aiming to improve his ranking in the state marathon series.
