Brazilian designers expand presence at Paris and São Paulo fashion weeks
Brazilian designers are gaining international and national visibility through major fashion showcases. In Paris, mother-daughter duo Maisa Gouveia and Natália Gouveia presented their “Gala en Fleur” collection at the Ritz Paris during Paris Fashion Week. The high-fashion collection utilized luxury materials such as pure silk zibeline and jacquard to create sculptural silhouettes inspired by floral elements.
Domestically, brands from Rio Grande do Norte are expanding their presence at São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW). Supported by Sebrae-RN, brands including Gueorguia, Dali, and Funlab will participate in the event. These designers aim to showcase regional identity, incorporating local culture, craftsmanship, and the aesthetics of the Brazilian Northeast into their collections.
