Brazilian dogs rescued from injury and entrapment incidents

A dog in Carambeí, Brazil, collided with a post and suffered a serious spinal injury. Volunteers from the Associação Voluntária de Proteção Animal rescued the animal, which was taken to a veterinary clinic for examinations, pain management and ongoing observation.

In a separate incident, a caramel‑coloured dog became trapped between the walls of two houses in the state of Maranhão. The local fire brigade broke through a wall to free the animal and returned it safely to its owner. Both rescues highlighted the rapid response of emergency services and community volunteers, as well as concerns about animal safety in urban areas.
