Brazilian domestic worker arrested in Coles, Spain for €30,000 theft from elderly homes
A 53‑year‑old Brazilian woman living in the municipality of Coles, Ourense, was detained by the Guardia Civil as part of operation Milkia. She is accused of one robbery with force and four thefts committed in the homes of elderly residents for whom she worked as a housekeeper. The police estimate the total value of the stolen items at more than €30,000, including €10,160 in cash and €20,200 in jewelry. During the raid, officers seized jewelry, watches and cash, and also opened an investigation into the woman's young son‑in‑law as a possible recipient of the stolen goods. She was placed under judicial custody after the arrest.
