Brazilian Electoral Courts Conduct Training and Public Hearing on Election Matters

On July 22, the Regional Electoral Court of Amazonas (TRE‑AM) held a four‑hour training on electoral accounting for the 2026 elections. The session, hosted in the Forum Eleitoral auditorium in Aleixo, covered rules for fundraising, campaign expenses, and the CONTA+JE system. It was led by judicial analysts Maria Fabiana Rodrigues and José Mário Chaves and streamed live on the court’s YouTube channel for participants who could not attend in person.

On July 20, the Regional Electoral Court of Rio Grande do Norte (TRE‑RN) organized a public hearing on electoral harassment in the workplace. The hearing, held in the plenary of the court in Natal and also broadcast live, brought together judges, labor tribunal representatives, the federal public prosecutor’s office and civil society groups to discuss prevention and response measures for election‑related workplace abuse.
