Simultaneously, Equatorial Pará is promoting energy-saving habits following ANEEL's decision to maintain the yellow tariff flag for September. This flag imposes an additional charge of R$ 1.885 per 100 kWh due to less favorable conditions for electricity generation, requiring the use of more expensive thermoelectric sources. Consumers are encouraged to use appliances like air conditioners and refrigerators more efficiently to mitigate rising costs.
