Campo Grande's Campanha do Agasalho Collects Over 4,000 Items in Final Mobilization

The 2026 Campanha do Agasalho concluded on Saturday, August 1, with a “Dia D” collection at Praça do Rádio in Campo Grande. More than 4,000 clothing and blanket items were donated by residents, motorcycle clubs, classic‑car groups and municipal partners. The event was organized by the Fundo de Apoio à Comunidade (FAC) and supported by the city’s Ouvidoria‑Geral, Casa Civil, Agetran, Agereg and the Fundação Municipal de Cultura. The Insanos motorcycle club delivered around 70 bikes and over 1,500 pieces, while classic‑car enthusiasts added thousands of additional donations.

FAC president Adir Diniz highlighted the campaign’s impact, noting that since its launch the program has already assisted more than 17,500 people and aims to reach roughly 50,000 vulnerable families by year‑end. Although the formal campaign has ended, FAC will continue to accept donations at its headquarters on Avenida Fábio Zahran, nº 6 000, Vila Carvalho.
