EuRiso International Clown Festival Concludes in Fernandópolis

The 12th edition of EuRiso, the International Clown Festival in Fernandópolis, São Paulo, wrapped up on Sunday, 19 July. Organized by local clown Rafael Guerra de Aquino, the event ran for four days, featuring about 60 national and international artists and more than 30 free performances in public squares, most notably the main tent on Praça da Matriz.

Highlights included the closing show “Planeta Só Terra” and a final evening program with performances by groups such as As Fortonas and Cia. Suno. Since its launch in 2014, EuRiso has aimed to democratise circus art by offering free, accessible shows and workshops, attracting audiences from Fernandópolis and neighboring towns and contributing to the city’s cultural and economic life.
