Brazilian festivals Rock in Rio and AFROPUNK Brasil showcase major music line‑ups

Celo Dut Rock in Rio AFROPUNK Brasil Salvador Kehlani

Rapper and singer Celo Dut will present his debut solo album "Rei das Ruas" live with a full band on the Supernova stage at Rock in Rio on 12 September 2026. The performance marks his first concert with a backing band and highlights the blend of rap, MPB and Afro‑Brazilian rhythms that define his sound.

AFROPUNK Brasil 2026 will take place on 7–8 November at the Parque de Exposições in Salvador. The festival’s line‑up includes international acts such as Kehlani, Kelela, the British trio FLO and Jorja Smith, alongside Brazilian legends Gilberto Gil, Emicida and Criolo, and other regional performers. Organisers say the event aims to connect generations and amplify the cultural and economic impact of Black music in Brazil.
