Brazilian financier Daniel Vorcaro hires intimidation group to threaten yacht captain and target actress Monique Alfradi

Former banker Daniel Vorcaro is the focus of a Federal Police investigation after he allegedly recruited the criminal group known as “Turma”—comprised of retired police, militiamen and bicheiros—to intimidate the captain of his private yacht, the Solar I, in Angra dos Reis. The captain, Luis Felipe Woyceichoski, reported threats and a paid‑off search for the vessel’s logs, claiming Vorcaro paid roughly R$400,000 a month for the group’s services. Police records show Vorcaro also instructed Luiz Phillipi Mourão, dubbed “Sicário,” to “go after” the captain, to threaten the yacht’s chef, and to “moer” (harm) an employee of actress Monique Alfradique. WhatsApp chats released by investigators reveal Vorcaro demanding violence against the employee and arranging a plane to transport “kengas” (a slang term for prostitutes) for a party. The captain later left the job, and the probe continues.
