Brazilian fintechs Dubpay and A5X secure new funding rounds

Brazilian fintech companies are securing significant capital to expand financial infrastructure. Dubpay, a payment infrastructure fintech, has raised US$ 2 million in a new funding round. The company is using the capital to launch the Dubpay Global Account, an international solution designed to help Brazilian businesses process cross-border payments, receive funds abroad, and manage expenses through integrated Visa physical and virtual cards.

In the capital markets sector, A5X announced a R$ 360 million Series D funding round, bringing its valuation to R$ 2.7 billion. Led by Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Kaszek, the investment aims to position A5X as a direct competitor to B3 in the Brazilian derivatives and futures market. A5X plans to debut its platform in the second quarter of 2027, focusing on trading and central counterparty clearing.
